Large corporate events

Leave an impression when you host a corporate event at St Mary’s Guildhall. We have large venues, such as the Great Hall and Undercroft, that can accommodate Christmas parties or award ceremonies so you can make the most of your event.

The Great Hall, which was first built in the 1340s, was the merchant guild’s primary ceremonial, meeting, and banqueting hall.

Lying directly beneath the Great Hall, the Undercroft was formerly used to store gunpowder during the Civil War and features stunning sandstone pillars that serve as a wonderful backdrop. This works well as a cocktail reception in conjunction with the Great Hall.

A ‘must see’ in Coventry

“A big thank you for yesterday’s tour of the Guildhall. Not only is the Guildhall magnificently restored and incredibly interesting, your enthusiasm, knowledge and warm welcome added so much. I felt like a VIP. I would recommend a tour of the Guildhall with a knowledgeable guide as a ‘must see’ in Coventry; it illustrates so much about Coventry’s heritage and adds a dimension well beyond Coventry’s leading role in motor manufacturing.”
